Housing inequalities in the green transition: Preliminary findings

Roberta Cucca shared early insights from the RehousIn project, which examines how the green and digital transition is reshaping housing systems across Europe. The presentation highlighted the importance of considering the social implications of sustainability policies, particularly in relation to housing affordability, socio-spatial inequalities, and the distributional effects of urban environmental measures. The webinar provided an opportunity for participants to reflect on how sustainability and housing policies can be better aligned. Initiatives such as SUP4SUD play an important role in fostering knowledge exchange across European regions and supporting local authorities in developing more inclusive and socially just urban policies.
